Terms
The agreement between you and Remia, in plain words.
In short
Remia helps you plan trips, pack for them and keep your papers to hand. What you add is yours. Plus is a subscription you can cancel at any time through the store you bought it in. Flight times, entry rules and drafted plans come from other sources and can be wrong, so check anything that matters with the airline or the official source before you rely on it.
Using Remia
You need to be 13 or over to use Remia. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at help@remiatravel.com if you think someone else has used it.
Remia is a planning companion. It is not a travel agent: it does not book, sell or change any travel, and it is not part of your contract with an airline, hotel or anyone else you book with.
What you add
Your trips, photos, looks, documents and receipts stay yours. You give us permission to store them, keep them in step across your devices, and show them to the people you invite, only so we can run Remia for you. That permission ends when you delete them or your account.
Only add what you have the right to add. Do not upload other people’s documents without their permission, or anything unlawful, abusive or meant to harm.
Planning with others
When you invite someone, they see the trip in the role you choose, along with the comments, polls and moodboard on it. Anyone holding an invite link can join until it expires or you turn it off, so share it with care. Your papers and receipts are never shared, even on a shared trip.
Suggestions, not instructions
Remia uses AI to read the booking emails you forward and to draft itineraries when you ask. Both are suggestions: nothing joins your trip until you confirm it, and you should check the details against the original booking.
Flight status comes from flight data providers, forecasts from Open-Meteo, and entry rules from third-party sources. They are usually right and sometimes late or wrong. Always confirm times and gates with your airline, and entry and visa requirements with the official government source, before you travel.
Plus
Plus is a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. The price and period are shown before you buy, and it renews automatically until you cancel in the store’s subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
Payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. If a payment fails, Plus keeps working while the store retries. If it lapses, everything you added stays, and the free plan’s limits apply to anything new.
If we change what Plus costs or includes, we will tell you in the app before the change reaches your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does.
Keeping Remia running
We work to keep Remia available and your trips safe, and the app works offline so you are never stranded without your plans. We cannot promise it will always be free of faults or interruption. We may change or retire features; if we retire one you pay for, we will tell you first.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law stops us.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or through the deletion page at /account/delete. What happens to your data is set out in the privacy policy. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription, so cancel that in the store as well.
Responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. You keep your rights under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on third-party information, such as a missed flight after a late status update, or from plans that change. Our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us for Plus in the twelve months before the problem.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, or in another country, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
