Questions, answered
The same answers as in the app. If they do not cover it, a person reads every message.
Using Remia
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Every trip lives on your phone, with its photos, looks and papers, so it all opens in airplane mode. Changes you make offline are kept and go up when you are back online.
How do I add a booking from an email?
Forward the confirmation to your Remia address, which is in Settings. It appears in your inbox to check, and reaches the trip only once you say it is right.
What does the mode question change?
Only what comes first on Today and the starting packing list. Every mode has everything, and you can change it any time from the trip’s People tab.
Where does the packing list come from?
From the looks on your itinerary. Add a look to a stop, name what is in it, and those clothes join the list, with a few essentials that no look covers.
How does the drafted itinerary work?
Ask for a draft on the Plan tab and Remia suggests a few stops a day from the destination, your dates and the places on your moodboard. Nothing joins the trip until you keep it, and you can untick or edit any stop first. Drafts come with Plus.
What is the trip recap?
After you get home, Remia puts the trip back together from your itinerary, looks and moodboard. You can save it as a PDF or share it as a page. Only your own looks are in it, never anyone else’s, and you can turn the link off.
Papers and privacy
How safe are my documents?
Papers are private to you, even on a shared trip. They are stored encrypted on our servers and protected by your phone’s own encryption, and the Papers tab opens only with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
What does Remia keep from my passport?
The expiry date and issuing country, so it can check them against where you are going, and the photo if you add one. Nothing is read from the photo.
How do I delete my account?
Settings, then Delete account. It removes your profile, the trips you created, and your looks, papers and receipts straight away. A trip someone else can edit passes to them.
Plus and your subscription
What comes with Plus?
Flight alerts pushed to your phone in the two days before you fly, every trip on the go, the whole group editing, weather-aware packing, drafted itineraries, the trip recap, every skin, and no limits. The free plan keeps two trips on the go, reads ten booking emails a month, keeps 20 garments, lets one other person edit a trip (anyone can view), and holds three looks, three documents, five receipts and 20 moodboard images a trip. On the free plan, pull down on the Fly tab for the latest flight status.
What is the trip pass?
Thirty days of Plus for one trip, bought once. It does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel. Buy another for the next trip, or move to monthly or yearly.
How do I cancel?
Through the store you subscribed with: on iPhone, Settings, your name, then Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play, your profile, then Payments and subscriptions. Plus runs to the end of the period you paid for, and everything you added stays.
My payment did not go through.
Plus keeps working while the store tries again. Update your card in the store and it carries on as before. Remia shows a note on your trips until it is sorted.
Can I get a refund?
Apple and Google handle payments, so refunds go through them: reportaproblem.apple.com for iPhone, or the order in Google Play. If something went wrong on our side, write to us as well.
I have a new phone. Is Plus still there?
Sign in with the same account and it is. If it does not show, write to us with the email you sign in with.
